After the first conceptual images of Avatar 3, 4, and 5, one of the actresses reveals more about the upcoming installment. Cameron is preparing something very, very big. With over $2.32 billion in revenue worldwide, the sequel has climbed to the third place in the list of all-time highest-grossing films. The future looks bright for the saga and the best is yet to come, starting with Avatar 3.
It was initially scheduled for release on December 18, 2024, but will now be released on December 17, 2025 (logically). For Avatar 3, Cameron will change the narrator by allowing Lo’ak, one of the sons of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), to take a more prominent role. The director will also introduce a new tribe: the Ash People – which will be led by Varang, played by Oona Chaplin (Talisa Stark in Game of Thrones). This clan lives in a volcanic region of Pandora.
That’s all we know about Avatar 3, but Zoe Saldana promises that it’s worth the wait and that it will be “incredible”. It’s going to be incredible. Avatar 3, it’s going to be great, and with Avatar 4 and 5, it’s just going to be insane. It’s true.
Really. It stunned all of us. This is his legacy. We all thought it would be Titanic, and it turns out it will be Avatar after all.
And for us, being part of something so revolutionary and innovative is like a legacy for us too. Via [Collider]. Avatar 3 is going to be “amazing” and from a strict visual point of view, we obviously believe it.
