Netflix is going all out for the return of an absolutely iconic film franchise, and has made a much-anticipated announcement about it. To achieve this, there is no secret, it is essential to have a large amount of content, at a regular pace to prevent monthly cancellations, and preferably of good quality.
Although, fundamentally, what matters to the red N firm is that people watch the programs. The platform has already released Snowbound, High in the Clouds, and Orion’s Night, but other feature films are in the pipeline.
Action comedies carried on the shoulders of Eddie Murphy, even though the other members of the cast, like Serge, have also contributed to the success of these films. And it is this success that Netflix wants to replicate with Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. A sequel that brings back the main characters from the previous films, some of whom have aged quite a bit except for Murphy.
